I got the basic Pzizz deal and love it, I’m hoping they’ll add the sleep module. Fans want Pzizz because ‘According to the National Sleep Foundation, sleep deprivation and its effect on work performance may be costing U.S. employers some $18 billion each year in lost productivity. Another study pushes this cost to over $100 billion.’ – link to full article

Where’s Bob?

without comments

OK, long-ish Sam story tonight.

So Alicia called and told me this… she made fajitas/burritos for supper and Sam was FREAKING OUT over the beans. Terrified of them, shaking when they got near him. At first he didn’t want any of it, but the conversation went something like this.

“NO! Get dem away! They may taste yucky”

“Sam, they’re fine, you’ll like them.”

“NO! I don’t want them, they might fall out of my mouth… put a tomato in my mouth so I don’t eat de beans!”

so she gives up and makes him a cheese quesadilla with nothing but cheese and tortilla… he takes one bite… looks distrustingly at her

“Where de beans?”

“Over there on the counter sam”

“YOU eat the beans so I don’t eat dem.”

Now I’m laughing my BUTT off long before this point.. but it gets better (and, though we disagree on it, I think it explains a LOT). Earlier he walked into the kitchen when alicia was chopping things up.

“What’s dat?”

“That’s tomato.”

“Where’s Bob?” with a sly look on his face (FYI Bob the Tomato is a character in Veggie Tales which he enjoys greatly).

“I chopped him up and we’re going to eat him for supper.”

ponderous look on little boy’s face.

“Where his eyes?”

At which point I interrupt her to ask if she ACTUALLY told her toddler that she had chopped up a fictional character that he loves and that he was expected to EAT it for dinner… she had…. well GEE WHY WOULD YOU THINK HE MIGHT BE AFRAID OF THE FOOD?!?!?!?!
