This one is… Ridiculous
The other night Grace brought her Dora doll over to me with the shirt half on. So I started to put it on and this little bit of dialogue followed.
Grace: NO! Take it off!
Dad: Oh, do you want me to take it off?
Grace (with the “you moron” face on): Yes!
Dad: Can you say please?
Grace (with the “you stupid moron if you weren’t so much bigger than me I’d NEVER listen to you” face on): Pleashe!
Dad takes off the shirt and hands it to Grace along with the doll. Grace takes them and as she turns away she ends the conversation…
Grace: “DICULOUS!”
There is something gratifying when you kid pics up something less than flattering… from your spouse and not you. This is an Alicia frustration word (i.e. “Jake and Sam, why are you pestering each other? this is RIDICULOUS!”).
