Windows rescue with Linux distro

without comments

At one point I used Knoppix for this sort of thing, but that was about 4 years ago. Now that I’m on a Mac myself I don’t need to rescue windows as much (I tend to just keep the windows machine here at home in a state where not much can happen to it). Though I think it’s probably time to download this since I probably just jinxed the windows box (as if being a Vista PC wasn’t a bad enough jinx on its own).

Trinity Rescue Kit or TRK is a free live Linux distribution that aims specifically at recovery and repair operations on Windows machines
